There is no such thing as "Heaven" in the singular sense of the term. In reality, "Heaven" is more of a concept than a singular place. Various otherworldly "paradise dimensions" exist, often associated with a particular divine being or pantheon. These are often occupied by messengers known as Angels who are fairly benevolent in their attitudes toward human beings. These dimensions may be places where souls are sheltered in afterlife experiences; some of these may have a very Abrahamic, "God the Father" figure, while others follow the manner of, say, Tír na nÓg. In the end, each pantheon has its own way of doing things, and each "Heaven" tends to reflect the divinity it is associated with.
