The Beacon Hills School District only has to govern relatively few schools: the campus of Beacon Hills High School and Beacon Hills Elementary School, along with a loose association with Beacon Hills College. While not located within the city limits of Beacon Hills proper, there is also the south side Chapel Elementary School, located on the southern outskirts of the city. It is also included in the BHSD. The Beacon Hills Board of Education meets downtown at City Hall once per quarter, usually on the third Tuesday. As a private school, Devenford Prep only has associate status to the Board of Education.
